Watch: Ian Happ Absolutely CRUSHES Home Run Against Jacob deGrom

Following a contentious bottom of the 1st inning, where Pete Alsonso thought he hit a home run but did not (it was clearly foul), Ian Happ just hit an absolute tank against Jacob deGrom.

My favorite part here is watching deGrom buckle as the ball flies out of the stadium. You can tell he’s not quite used to seeing that. With heat like deGrom brings, it’s not hard to imagine the ball traveling very far when someone does actually catch up with it.

And that’s exactly what just happened.
