Seiya Suzuki Will Be Activated from IL Monday

Seiya Suzuki hasn’t played since injuring his left ring finger on May 26 in Cincinnati and being placed on the IL four days later, but he’s mashed in two rehab games and is now on his way back to Chicago. Suzuki will be activated for Monday’s game in Milwaukee and he figures to be starting in right field.

Everything looked good as he went 4-for-9 with a homer and two doubles, though some might see the four strikeouts as a little worrisome. Still, you’ll take a few whiffs in exchange for the pop. Expect to see Narciso Crook optioned to Triple-A Iowa to clear room on the roster.
