Chicago Cubs Lineup (9/7/20): Javy STILL Batting Cleanup, Maybin in RF, Hendricks Starting

It’s Labor Day and I’m laboring in the yard, so this preview is absent any real analysis. The Cubs have a fairly standard lineup with Ian Happ leading off in center, Kris Bryant at third, and Anthony Rizzo at first. Javy Báez continues to bat cleanup despite diminishing returns, Kyle Schwarber is in left, and Willson Contreras is the DH.

Victor Caratini is catching, Cameron Maybin is in right, and Jason Kipnis is at second. Jason Heyward left last night’s game due to feeling dizzy and lightheaded and is sitting again despite feeling better. David Ross offered little detail on the matter, saying only that the Cubs have had no positive COVID results.

Kyle Hendricks is on the mound against big righty Johan Oviedo for the 3:10pm CT start. You can watch on Marquee or ESPN and 670 The Score has the radio coverage.
