Watch: Kris Bryant’s Clutch Home Run Gives Cubs Lead Against Reds
For the first time since his three-homer game in 2016, Kris Bryant has homered in Cincinnati. He picked a good time to do it, too, giving the Cubs their first lead on Sunday with a three-run shot. After the Cubs cut the Reds lead to 3-2, the bases were empty with two outs in the inning. Jason Heyward reached on a chopper on the infield, Castellanos singled to keep the inning alive, and Kris Bryant launched his 23rd homer of the season to put the Cubs on top 5-3.
