Watch: Albert Almora Crushes 435-Foot Homer

With his team down 3-1 in the top of the 6th inning, Albert Almora Jr. dug in against new Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler. The Cubs hadn’t fared well against Clayton Kershaw, but it only took two pitches from his relief to turn things around.

After taking Buehler’s first 97 mph fastball down and away, Almora ambushed a middle-in mistake at the same speed and took it out to left at nearly 108 mph. That homer got the Cubs to within one, but they wouldn’t stop there.
