Cubs Quick Hits: Statcast Info from Javy’s Homers in LA

I would like to share with you the Statcast numbers and highlights of Javy Baez’s heroics in last night’s win against the 2017 World Series runner-up Los Angeles Dodgers.

The moment Javy laid off a 2-2 slider, I knew we were about to see something spectacular. No more than 15 seconds later, El Mago leaned back on a full-count fastball, launching the first of his two homers deep into the overpriced LA evening.

Javy then followed up by breaking the game open with a first-pitch grand slam a few innings later. Have yourself a night, All-Star.
