Chicago Cubs Lineup: Heyward Leads Off, Almora Sixth in Lester’s Second Start

The leadoff picture is coming into better focus, or at least that’s how it seems to my eyes. Jason Heyward is at the top again as the Cubs face righty Taijuan Walker and the D-backs, while Albert Almora Jr. hits sixth.

Sandwiched between them are Javy Baez, Willson Contreras, Addison Russell, and Efren Navarro.

Chris Gimenez is in the lineup once again, this time as the DH, with Jason Vosler at third and Peter Bourjos in left. Kind of a blah order overall, but that’s what you get at this point.

Jon Lester will be on the mound for the second time this spring as he looks to get dialed in ahead of his Opening Day start. First pitch from Salt River Fields comes at 2:10pm CT and can be heard on 670 The Score.
