Chicago Cubs Lineup – NLCS Game 3: Arrieta Looking to Dominate on the West Coast (Again)

My head is spinning, quite literally. I only know it’s Tuesday because the Cubs play tonight. My adventures following the Cubs around this season, and particularly during the playoffs, have been a blast – craziness and great times. I’ve met some amazing people along the way too. I’ll be sure to write more about everything when it’s all over, but for now….Cubs!

Jake Arrieta (18-8, 3.10 ERA) will take the mound looking to add to his California dominance – in four regular season games this year he gave up a mere 11 hits and a solitary earned run – tonight in Los Angeles. And let’s not forget about his no-hitter at none other than Dodger Stadium just last year. He’s going up against the resurgent, former Cubs player, Rich Hill (12-5, 2.12). Another lefty starter for the Dodgers.

The lineup tonight is a clear indication that Joe will be seeking to maximize offense against the lefty, with all right swinging batters with the exception of Anthony Rizzo and Miguel Montero. Javy Baez will be at second base again with Ben Zobrist in left field and Jorge Soler in right.

Here’s tonight’s Chicago Cubs lineup:
