Chicago Cubs Lineup – NLCS Game Two: Hendricks Collides with Kershaw
After last night’s incredible game, I have to admit, it’s a little hard for me to focus. Kyle Hendricks (16-8, 2.13 ERA) will need plenty of focus tonight though if he’s to beat one of the best – ok, the best – pitchers in the game in Clayton Kershaw (12-4, 1.69 ERA). I’d expect to see a pitchers duel but everything we’ve seen so far from these Cubs in the playoffs has been anything but the expected.
With Kershaw on the hill the Cubs are going with a righty-centric lineup tonight. Jason Heyward gets the start in right field tonight as the only lefty bat in the lineup (editor’s note – the only lefty bat that you’d consider sitting. Rizzo would get the start regardless).
