Chicago Cubs Lineup – NLCS Game One: Lester Looks to Continue Domination

And so it begins. The Chicago Cubs (103-58) are all set to face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers (91-71) in the first game of the best-of-seven series that starts tonight at Wrigley Field.

Jon Lester (19-5, 2.44 ERA) will be tossing the biscuit for the Cubs against the Dodgers, who’ve struggled mightily against lefties all year, ranking dead last in MLB. For his part, Lester has a .200/.240/.300 slash line against when facing left handed batters, which the Dodgers have plenty of.

The Cubs will send out the exact same lineup they used in game one of the NLDS. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Although, this time around the Cubs will be facing Kenta Maeda and not Johnny Cueto. So expect more than three hits out of the boys in blue, but I will take another Javier Baez home run if it’s an option.
