Watch: Kris Bryant Hammers 469-Foot Home Run

It only makes sense that Bryant would launch a monster home run a couple days after I put together a list of the Cubs’ 10 longest dingers of the year. And that he’d do it after I published a piece touting his MVP credentials. Bryant came into the game tied with the Rockies’ Nolan Arenado for the NL home run lead with 30, so that bomb to center gave the Cubs sophomore a slight advantage.

No disrespect to Arenado, but can you imagine what kind of numbers Bryant would be putting up at Coors? He’s already freakishly good, so the 30-point BABIP boost would likely make him a runaway MVP candidate. Wait, he’s already that.
