Chicago Cubs Lineup: Adam Warren Starting, La Stella is Back

We’re all set for another day game at Wrigley Field, the way baseball was meant to be played. And Adam Warren will be making his first start of the season for the Chicago Cubs (52-31) as they close out the series against the Cincinnati Reds (31-54). The Cubs have dominated the Reds so far this season, going 10-2 against them and outscoring them 102-45. Just a little lopsided…

Jason Heyward remains in the sixth spot in the order today, a place that he likely fits better given his mediocre offensive production so far this year. He’ll be playing center field today in place of the injured Dexter Fowler.

Kris Bryant scoots over the right field today to fill in for Heyward. Tommy La Stella has been activated by the Cubs and will cover third base in place of Bryant. We’ll fill you in on the corresponding roster moves in just a few.

Willson Contreras, who’s now an everyday starter for the Cubs, is in at left field.
