Cubs Clips: WATCH Highlights and Relive Saturday’s Thrilling Cubs’ Win Over the Nationals

As we mentioned yesterday (read the game recap here), there were five lead changes and two ties in this game. There were clutch hits by Dexter Folwer, Kris Bryant (we have no idea how he managed to hit a home run into that wind), Addison Russell and Ryan Kalish. Not too mention clutch performances from Pedro Strop and Hector Rondon, who both came in and shut down the Nationals offense. And of course, no game would be complete without incredible defense. This one really had it all.

Joe Maddon talks about those performances and offers his insight into the incredible win:

Here the Cubs turn an unconventional double play, as Nationals pitcher, Gio Gonzalez, attempts to lay down a safety squeeze bunt to score the runner, Stephen Drew, from third base (hint: it didn’t work):

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Addison Russell conjures up a great double that hit off the glove of Bryce Harper to score the game winning runs:
