Bonus Baseball For a Cause: Cubs @ Rangers Futures Game on Wednesday

You probably already know that the Cubs will take on the Texas Rangers tomorrow at Surprise Stadium at 3:05 CDT. As a very cool, added bonus, approximately 30 minutes after the end of the Cactus League game between these teams, there will be a Futures game featuring top prospects from both sides.

I haven’t seen anything yet on the projected Cubs lineup for this game but I can tell you that this will be a cool treat. It’s a very neat way for the Cubs to showcase guys from the minor league squads. Once I get word on a lineup I’ll let you know but I’d highly recommend going to this unique double header since there are loads of talented prospects for the Cubs in the valley right now.

The funds raised will go to benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and the Cubs Charities Diamond Project.
