Cubs Release Tentative 2025 Spring Training Schedule

Major League Baseball and the Chicago Cubs today announced the tentative 2025 Spring Training schedule, which begins Thursday, February 20 at Camelback Ranch in Glendale against the Los Angeles Dodgers, followed by the Sloan Park opener Friday, February 21 against the Dodgers.

The club’s tentative 25-game schedule consists of 17 games at Sloan Park, including two exhibition games against the Atlanta Braves March 24 and 25, and eight Cactus League road games. The abbreviated spring campaign will take a hiatus when the team heads to Japan in mid-March. The trip to Tokyo will include two exhibition games (games TBA) and two previously announced regular season games against the Los Angeles Dodgers on March 18 and 19.

The Cubs and White Sox play two times next spring – Saturday, February 22 at Sloan Park and Friday, March 7 at Camelback Ranch in Glendale.

MLB’s Spring Breakout games return to the Spring Training schedule for the second-straight season. This year, the Chicago prospects will participate in two games: the Cubs will play the Brewers at American Family Fields on Thursday, March 13, before hosting the Los Angeles Angels prospects on Saturday, March 15 at Sloan Park.
