Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/26/21): Hendricks on the Bump, Báez at Short, Hoerner at Second
Ian Happ leads off in centerfield today, followed by Javier Báez at short, Joc Pederson in left, Anthony Rizzo at first, and Jason Heyward in right. Nico Hoerner is playing second base batting sixth, Eric Sogard is batting seventh playing third, followed by P.J. Higgins catching.
Kyle Hendricks will take the hill today in his final spring tuneup of 2021. On Thursday we learned that Hendricks will be followed in the starting rotation by Jake Arrieta and then Zach Davies. For Hendricks, it was no surprise that he’ll be the anchor of the staff this season, a role he’s clearly earned over the years as a Cub.
Today’s game starts at 3:05pm CT and will be broadcast on Marquee Sports Network and 670 The Score.
