Chicago Cubs Lineup: Cubs Look to Sweep 2nd Straight Rain Shortened Series, Bryant Back
The Cubs have had two rain-outs now over four days and they’ll look to win the second of those rain shortened series as they take on the Atlanta Braves on a chilly, overcast day. John Lackey will pitch today for the Cubs since he was originally scheduled to go yesterday.
Kris Bryant is back in the lineup today after sustaining a mild sprain to his right ankle in Thursday’s game against the Brewers. Glad to see this was only a tweak and Kris is feeling better.
Tim Federowicz will start at catcher today in place of David Ross. Tim was called up on Thursday when Miguel Montero was placed on the 15-day DL with a sore back.
